OOM: Edward needs to learn how to have fun.
"I think we'll start with Dagobah," Jenny told him as she walked towards the cockpit of her small shuttle. "According to my computer, it's a small swamp planet discovered a thousand years ago by a sect of Jedi who had broken away from the Second Great and Bountiful Human Empire after a deceleration decreeing all religions founded upon fictional works were null and void. There's not much there now. It's been abandoned... um, well, for a while."

She stopped by her chair, turning around to make sure that Edward had indeed followed her from Milliways.

Her shuttle wasn't much, Jenny knew, but she considered it her life. It was the only home she had (unless you counted the room in Milliways) and her only means of actually doing anything. Well, anything remotely interesting. Random knickknacks from various planets were scattered about the room, mostly concentrated away from the cockpit and in the back of the shuttle. A couple of photographs of herself and Bart were taped on to various walls. Her prized piece of psychic paper was lying underneath a stack of books.

It felt more like a home now than when she commandeered it from Messaline.

"Well?" Jenny slid into the pilot's seat and looked at him. "Whatcha think, Edward?"

His gesture was purposely misinterpreted. Jenny grasped his hand with hers before walking up the aisle, dragging him alongside her. She glanced behind her briefly to take one last look at the pretty Star Poet.

Jenny chuckled softly and shrugged, taking a deep breath of the artificial air once under the dome. "She was lovely, wasn't she?"

He had shaken his hand, very briefly and very gently, but she'd clung and he'd simply walked onward, after rolling his eyes. Quite Jenny.

"The whole experience was."

In the whole, there really was no getting rid of her now. He simply wasn't putting in enough effort to scare her off. Jenny wanted a family badly enough.

"I'm glad," she answered, looking up at him. "I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Maybe we'll get Alice to come someday too. And Jay. Or just us. I had a lot of fun today."

"On the whole, it was more-" Edward paused his words, thoughtfully, settling it with a smirk, wry and lopsided. "Pleasant than I had expected initially."

Jenny laughed brightly. "You mean to say you had fun, didn't you?"

Edward's brows rose. "I said pleasant." He continued to lead her toward where they'd started everything at this dome world.

"Fun," she corrected again, looking at him in challenge.

Like he was going to win this debate. So far, Edward hadn't been very successful in convincing her of anything else.

Edward just kept walking.

And she laughed again. He might never admit it out loud, or at least, he might not admit it right now, but Jenny felt certain that she knew better.

"Fun," she echoed, as they headed back towards the shuttle and back towards Milliways.
