OOM: Bart and Umbeka!

"Sorry, buddy, looks like I won't be needing that coat after all."

Jenny flashes the bewildered man behind the counter a bright grin as she finally walks into the outer clothing store in Umbeka's spaceport. It only took a little more than a week, but if you ask her, it's totally been worth it.

Just look at the really cute guy she's dragging in behind her!

"Going to try a different form of fun instead," she continues. "Those hot springs that sign outside was bragging about! Where are they?"

He points in some vague direction that's good enough for Jenny. Still holding tightly on to Bart's hand, she walks back out the door and in to the busy space station.

Welcome to another planet, Bart!

It's a filling-up-the-silence statement that seems to come a couple of seconds too late. Jenny giggles, not at all caring about keeping silent.

He's good at multitasking, isn't he?

NEITHER IS THAT FEELING NEAR HIS LEFT FOOT OF NEARLY BEING BURNT.

"I hope," he says, dragging his foot in close because he really likes that foot, "that means 'really soon'."

Grinning, Jenny turns around to look at Bart. "Stay here. I'm going to go ahead and make sure the coast is clear."

Awwwww.

She smiles a smile that isn't reassuring at all. It's completely and utterly reckless and would quite possibly give her Dad a heart attack...or two.

"Thanks!"

And then she's repeating the same actions from earlier, falling on her back and kicking open the grate. For a few moments after, Jenny ducks for cover from whatever may occur. When nothing happens, she sticks her head out. There are Judoon, yes, but they're preoccupied with something else. Carefully and quietly, she climbs out and leans back in to offer Bart a hand.

"C'mon!"

He scrambles forward as quietly as possible, grabbing her hand and using the unsprained foot to help push himself up.

Right!

clutching his hand tightly, Jenny starts a slow sprint (all for his sprained ankle!) towards her shuttle. It's not that far and while the Judoon continue to interrogate an attendant, they just might make it!

"There," she shouts quietly and happily, pointing with her free hand. "Almost there!"

And by slow sprint, we mean HOP HOP HOP. At least, on Bart's part. Very quiet hopping, which is not easy, thank you.

The ship pointed out is slightly smaller than he'd expected, but whatever. If it gets them out of there, he's cool with that.

They get there soon enough. With a little bit of regret, Jenny lets go of his hand to type in the key code for her shuttle. The hatch opens with a small stairwell.

But the nose of the shuttle energizing is enough to attract the attention of a Judoon. Jenny bites her lip and grabs the gun from her trousers.

"Get on," she orders Bart as she aims and fires at a pipe above the Judoon.

OH NOES SMOKE!

The Judoon DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SMOKE.

They do, however, CARE ABOUT SEEING THINGS. And lo, there is confused regrouping as Bart finds a way into and hobbles onto the ship.

The little ship that is not bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. D:!

Jenny scrambles on after him, aiming another few rounds in the Judoons' direction. She drops the backpack and guns in the inside of the ship, darting past Bart to get to the cockpit.

"Buckle up, Speedy!"

Right now, they're blasting out of Umbeka. She laughs in delight as the spaceport shouts at them to stop, demanding they return to dock. In fact, they barely make it out of the quickly closing gate.

"I don't know," she responds once the coast is clear. "Anywhere you wanna go?"

And lo and behold, coordinates are set. Jenny turns to smile at Bart, taking the time to look over his bare chest. "Love this thing."

Jenny wrinkles her brows and nose, sighing.

"Not really. It's a short distance travel ship. I think there may be a medkit in the back. Should be something in there."

Since the ship is on autopilot, it won't hurt for her to get out of her seat. She undoes the buckle and begins to walk to the back as she talks. "Maybe-- aha!"
