So! Apparently (as of such far) scuba lessons from 8:45 am till 6:30 pm take a LOT out of you. Which means, as much as I thought that I would probably be able to tag things in the evening/night when I got home, I reeeeeally don't know how much energy I have in reality to do so.

If ya'll don't mind putting up with me, with threads and SWS stuff and games and everything, tagging will return to normal come Saturday. Hopefully, I will get in a few tags on things before then.

I'm back. Sort of.

On the plus side, after two weeks of being sick, I found out that I had appendicitis last Saturday. On the down side, that meant surgery and hospitalization until yesterday. I'm home now but things are probably still going to be pretty slow with me till the next week or so.

So, it's kind of amazing how fast a year flies by. I created this journal initially as a joke, for my own amusement, to see what it would be like to RP someone with your name.

I didn't think it would stick. Or I'd have so much fun with it or meet all these awesome people that I have since playing her.

So, yeah. Thanks to everyone who's ever played with her. Thanks to those who have gifted this journal with random things. And thanks for making this past year so much fun.

So. Hi!

I live! I survived Singapore (which was amazing) and travelling halfway around the world and all of that.

Alas, my computer did not. Despite the fact it had been left at home for the trip. So, in a nutshell? I am way more scatterbrained than I intended to be coming back.

On the plus side, I'm not graduating until August, so that stress has died down.


Did I miss anything exciting while gone?

As I am in Singapore for the next two weeks and also have a lot of stuff for my thesis due, too, this journal is going on hiatus until April 5.

Jenny will miss interacting with ya'll lots.

To people I have threads with or talked about threads with or whatnot, I am sorry that I suck lately. School has kind of hit me hard (block schedule is way more intensive than I expected) and to top it off, I got my roommate's cold which means suffering through paper writing while trying not to cough to death.

And, ultimately? Means that I do not have the headspace for RP/writing/whatever right now. I hate ignoring all of ya and hate not being as active as normal, but yeah.

Consider this kind of a very, very slow or semi-hiatus thing until I get better and/or adjust to school stuff.

And Merry Christmas to everyone! Jenny has gifts to give, I swear, but I need to have a few moments to think first.

So, here's the thing. For the first time since I've started role playing, I feel really dissatisfied with the journal name I've come up with. I've never considered purchasing a rename token before, but I think I may try to scrape together funds if I get any money for Christmas.

So far, I think, the one user name that's really hit me is toomuchlikehim. I don't know. I just think after playing Jenny, she is more than an anomaly. And I rather do like all the times she's equated with her father through out the episode. The contrast just interests me and, well, yeah. It fits her, especially when she gives her life for her father at the end.

But I'd like to see opinions, especially from those knowledgeable with the episode before I make a final decision on all this. Because $15 to me is a lot of money that I can better spend else where. But, yeah, the user name has really been getting to me.

So, here's the thing. I leave on a ten plus hour train ride Saturday to get home. Which, while I'll have internet on my phone, will still be as frustrating as hell (especially because typing on phone isn't fun).

So. Things that I promised people that would do today? (You all know who you are). I think I'm going to have to postpone a day or two. We got into a car accident on the way back from the mall and I'm now behind on the school work I have to get done and a four am train ride to look forward to and yeah.

We're okay. The car got off worse than we did (although now I have a lovely pressure type headache from my head smashing against the car) and it wasn't our fault, but yeah. First car accident I've ever been in, behind on work, probably should take a nap after all this before the train and FUN.

As such: things will probably go up tomorrow or Tuesday. Likewise, tags will be picked up around then Otherwise, I think I'd just keep on tagging and avoiding all the stress of real life (hello $65 cab ride tomorrow because my roommate has too much "home work" to pick me up from the nearest greyhound station) and I shouldn't be failing classes when I'm almost done with school.


Right: long story short? If any of you see me on playing on this journal before my qualitative research paper is done, yell at me.

I know I have logs going on with a number of you right now. I've been flakey the past week and I don't know if I'm going to get better any time soon. I have two papers due this week and a constantly crashing and work deleting computer to contend with. Then there are finals and trying to figure out a way to get home and a fish sitter and yeah.

On top of all of that, my depressions is acting up again and I'll get into fits of wanting to/not wanting to do things or convincing myself that I'm awful at everything I do and unnecessary and I'm better off deleting RP journals or disappearing from the face of the planet or what not.

So, yeah. If I don't answer to something, that's why.
