Communication is key?  
It had taken them some time to get Bart's hand on the mend. It hadn't taken nearly as much time to get back up to Jenny's room and to privacy. They had been quiet the entire time and the quietness seemed to persist as she closed the door behind her. She smiled weakly at Bart as she walked over to the bed and pulled off her boots.

"Um. Sex? Or talking?"

And somewhere in the couple of months she's known him, Jenny's found herself growing more serious about having Bart in her life than anybody else she knows. Said seriousness shows in her face.

She sighs, letting go of his hand and walking back to her bed. Jenny's afraid of crying, too.

All she wants is for him to believe her.

She sighs, glancing downward.

"Teddy and Billy are going to get married someday," she continues quietly. "And I... I really think I want to marry you someday, too. And really make you my family. But I'm so afraid we'll get into another fight because you don't trust me, either."

She figured that part out a long time ago. Tears stung her eyes as she looked up at him.

"You've never run from me. That's another thing, Bart. You've never abandoned me and... and I was the one that stormed away during our row, wasn't I? That's something else, I think. Another reason why you're one of the best people I know."

Her father had rejected her the moment she was born. Even if he accepted her as his before she died, he hadn't stuck around long after her death to see her come back to life.

It's a hard thing to get over.

"Would you," she begins and then hesitates. "Would you want to marry me someday? Make me your family?"
