The Master laughed as Jenny twirled in place, laughing giddily, laconically following her out through the TARDIS's doors, shutting them behind him and leaning against the tree the ship had become, blending perfectly in with the rest of the woods.
'Anyone you like,' he waved an indulgent hand in response to her question. 'We're within easy walking distance of the capital city. Civilisation, Jenny- a mighty civilisation at its peak; you'll be astounded.'
Of course, the Master had no idea what she'd done in the few months she'd been alive thus far, but he'd be willing to bet she'd not come across many places like Traken. Too busy following in her father's footsteps and helping the oppressed and the poor to bother with the magnificent. Well, this would be something new for her.
His lips quirking, he crooked his fingers at her, beckoning her to join him as he made his way out of the clearing. 'Let's be off, then. No time to waste, eh?' He lifted a sardonic eyebrow at the baleful statue of Melkur as he passed it, unable to resist.
